Privacy Policy
Last updated: June 2026
This policy explains how we handle personal data when you visit cadanum.com and when you join the pre-order waitlist. We keep data collection to a minimum.
1. Controller
The controller responsible for processing your personal data is:
2. When you visit this website
When you open the site, our hosting provider automatically processes technical information that your browser transmits — including your IP address, date and time of access, the page requested, and browser and device type. This is necessary to deliver the website securely and reliably. The legal basis is our legitimate interest in operating a safe website (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR).
3. Fonts and media from third parties
This website currently loads typefaces (Google Fonts) and some images and videos from external content delivery networks. When these are loaded, your IP address is transmitted to the relevant provider, which may be located outside your country. We intend to host fonts and media on our own servers to avoid this transfer; until then, this loading takes place on the basis of our legitimate interest in presenting the site consistently (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR).
4. Pre-order waitlist
If you use the waitlist form, the details you enter (name, email address and selected market) are placed into an email that opens in your own email program and is sent to [email protected]. The website itself does not store this data; it is transmitted by your email service and received by us by email. We use these details solely to contact you about CADANUM and the Founder's Edition. The legal basis is your consent and the taking of steps prior to a possible purchase at your request (Art. 6(1)(a) and (b) GDPR).
5. Recipients and processors
We share personal data only where necessary: with our hosting and email providers acting as processors on our behalf, and where required by law. We do not sell your data and do not use it for advertising profiling.
6. International data transfers
As the controller is established in Montenegro and some service providers are located in other countries, your data may be processed outside the European Economic Area and outside Thailand. Where this occurs, we rely on appropriate safeguards such as the European Commission's standard contractual clauses or an adequacy decision, where applicable.
7. Retention
We keep waitlist details only for as long as needed to contact you about the launch, and delete them when they are no longer required or when you ask us to, unless we are legally required to retain them.
8. Your rights
Subject to applicable law, you have the right to:
- access the personal data we hold about you;
- have inaccurate data corrected;
- have your data erased;
- restrict or object to processing;
- receive your data in a portable format;
- withdraw consent at any time, without affecting prior processing.
To exercise any of these rights, contact us at [email protected]. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with a competent data protection supervisory authority — in Montenegro, the Agency for Personal Data Protection and Free Access to Information (AZLP); in the EU, the authority of your country of residence.
9. Visitors in Thailand (PDPA)
If you are in Thailand, the Personal Data Protection Act (PDPA) applies to your personal data. You have comparable rights of access, correction, erasure, objection and withdrawal of consent, and you may contact us at [email protected] to exercise them.
10. Cookies
This website does not set tracking or advertising cookies and does not use analytics. If this changes, we will update this policy and, where required, ask for your consent first.
11. Changes to this policy
We may update this privacy policy as the website and our processing evolve. The current version is always available on this page.
